What comes first
If anyone is injured, call 112 (the EU-wide emergency number, also works in France) before anything else.
Get clear of traffic, hazard lights on, and put on a hi-vis vest if you need to get out of the vehicle.
Once things are handled with emergency services and, if needed, the police, call us to arrange recovery.
Once the vehicle is recovered
It can go to a garage for repair, to an assessor for evaluation, or anywhere else that suits you.
Frequently asked questions
What should I do first after an accident?
Call 112 first if anyone is injured. Once the scene is safe and the police have attended if necessary, we recover your vehicle to a garage, an assessor, or wherever you'd like it taken.
Can you help with the accident report or insurance paperwork?
No, that's handled between the parties involved and, where relevant, the police. Our role is limited to recovering the vehicle once the situation is under control.
