Municipal impound: not something we manage directly
If your car, including a rental, has been towed away by the city or the police, getting it back is done directly through the relevant impound office, with the vehicle papers and any fees paid there. We can't intervene in that administrative process. Once the car has been released to you, though, we can transport it to a garage or wherever else you need.
Stuck in an underground car park, or blocked in
This is where we come in. A car that won't start in a basement car park, an exit blocked by someone else's poor parking, low ceiling clearance: a network driver comes equipped for that kind of environment.
Low-emission zone (ZFE) in Paris
Paris runs a low-emission zone that restricts certain vehicles based on their Crit'Air sticker, at certain times. Exemptions exist for specific cases, but they aren't automatic, and a breakdown doesn't by itself exempt a vehicle from the rule. As far as we're aware, Paris isn't on a confirmed list of zones where a breakdown grants an automatic exemption. If your rental needs to drive through the zone to reach a garage and you're unsure whether it complies, it's worth checking the current rules with the local authority or the official Crit'Air site before driving on.
