Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

The website depannageplusvite.fr is operated by Dépannage Plus Vite, which connects drivers with a network of vetted breakdown and towing drivers in Paris and the Île-de-France region. For any question about your personal data, write to contact@depannageplusvite.fr.

2. The data we process

The "Quick request" form. It sends nothing to a server on this site. It prepares a message containing your name, phone number and a description of your situation, then opens it in WhatsApp. This information is only sent if you send the message yourself from WhatsApp, and it is then subject to WhatsApp's own terms.

Calls and messages. When you call or message us, we process the information you give us (phone number, breakdown location, vehicle type, nature of the problem). It is used only to handle your request and arrange the job, which means passing it on to the network driver who attends.

Technical data. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States). Like any host, it may record technical connection data (IP address, date and time, pages requested) to keep the service secure and running. This site uses no audience-measurement tool.

3. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. It only uses your browser's local storage for two things:

• remembering your choice in the consent banner (key dpv-consent);
• if you accept, remembering your light or dark theme preference (key dpv-theme).

If you decline, your chosen theme is only kept for the current session. You can change your choice at any time with the "Manage cookies" button at the bottom of every page.

4. Why, and on what basis

• Handling your job request: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
• Keeping the site secure and working: legitimate interest.
• Remembering your theme: your consent.

5. How long we keep it

Information exchanged by phone or WhatsApp is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, where applicable, for the periods required by law (for example for accounting). Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear or change it.

6. Who receives your data

• The network driver assigned to your job.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), if you contact us through that channel.
• GitHub, Inc., for hosting the site.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards set out in their own terms.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability. Write to us at the address above. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

This policy may change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
